Local Landscapers Weed n Feed Program
Welcome to Local Landscapers
Maximize Your Lawn’s Potential with Our Premium Weed & Feed Care.
This is my second year using Local Landscaper’s weed and feed program and it’s money well spent. My yard has never looked this good. No weeds, nothing but grass! Chaz completed the weed and feed two weeks ago and you can really see the difference. I highly recommend them!
Great company! We called based on a recommendation from a friend. We were looking for someone who would be very knowledgeable and responsive to our concerns and turn our rather shaky, weed infested yard into a great lawn. The owner, Charles, came out to look over our yard and described clearly what he would do to get our lawn where we wanted it. So far, the first step of aeration and seeding was done incredibly well, with the technician, Josh, being very concientious throughout the whole process, even coming back after normal hours to finish after the machine developed a problem. Based on how great our friend’s lawn now looks and the effort put forth so far on ours, I am confident that ours will look great, too.

Do I need Aeration and Seeding?
Summer can take a toll on your fescue lawn, causing stress that leads to bare or thinning spots. To keep your lawn lush and healthy, consider aeration and seeding to repair these areas. The best time to complete this is during September and October when conditions are ideal for growth and recovery.
Does the program cover Bermuda grass?
No, our Select and Prime fertilizer plans do not cover Bermuda grass. Currently, no chemical on the market can selectively target Bermuda grass in turf. However, a product is available that can suppress it. With three to four applications per season, this product will gradually suppress the Bermuda grass population. The goal is to continually reduce the population until it is eradicated, which will take multiple years to achieve.
Does my lawn need soil amendments?
Soil amendments can greatly enhance the health and appearance of your lawn by improving soil structure, drainage, and nutrient availability. Whether your lawn needs soil amendments depends on several factors, such as soil type, condition, and the specific needs of the grass you’re growing. We recommend starting with a soil test to determine what, if anything, your lawn may need. A soil test provides essential information about your soil’s pH level and nutrient content, helping to identify any deficiencies or imbalances. This will guide us in selecting the right soil amendments to improve your lawn’s health and appearance.
What is a soil test?
A soil test for lawns is a scientific analysis that measures the nutrient content, pH level, and other characteristics of your soil. It provides valuable information that helps determine the specific needs of your lawn for optimal growth and health.
