Regular monthly spraying is an excellent method to maintain the pristine appearance of your property. It helps extend the lifespan of driveways and paver surfaces by eliminating weeds growing in cracks, which can cause further damage and collect dirt and debris. For gravel driveways, it reduces the accumulation of organic matter among the stones, thereby prolonging their durability. Our service specifically targets existing weeds, with visits scheduled every month to address weeds when they are smaller and less noticeable. The spray typically takes 7-14 days to show its effects.

Please note, this service does not manage weeds growing in, under, or very close to plants and shrubs, nor does it include any follow-up for dead weeds.

When is the monthly spray service performed?

The Monthly Spray service is scheduled from February through October, with an additional winter spray in December.

What areas is monthly spray best for?

The Monthly Spray service targets weeds in areas outside of the lawn. This includes driveways of all types, fence lines, beaches, riprap, mulched and stone beds (away from plants), paver patios and walkways, under the edges of decks, parking lots, outdoor storage, construction yards, HOA common areas, outdoor retail areas, and any other areas away from plants and standing water.

How much does 1 gallon of spray cover?

The coverage of spray can vary depending on factors such as the size of the weeds, the density of the weed growth, and the types of weeds present. On average, one gallon of spray typically covers approximately 500 to 1,000 square feet.

How long does it take for Monthly spray to work?

Results typically appear within 7 to 14 days, depending on growing conditions. During cooler months when growth is slower, it may take the full 14 days to see noticeable effects. However, in the summer months, targeted weeds can start to show significant decline in as little as 3 days.

How do we perform the Monthly Spray work?

We use electric backpack sprayers. These are very quiet and should not disturb anyone who is on site. This application is no louder than a person walking. This is a spot treatment application where we target only the existing weeds we identify while on site. We do not perform blanket treatments across the entire area. This method allows the spray material to be more efficient, covering a larger area over time with less material.

How long do I need to wait to use the area after the spray application?

5 – 30 minutes. Our application is nearly a mist, in warmer weather, it tends to dry very quickly. Cooler months it can take more time to dry, up to a half hour.

What if it rains after the application?

The application is rain hardy as soon as it dries. If it rains during the application before things dry, we will revisit to complete and respray any at risk areas.
